‘Gas Powered’ Cooler, ‘Gas Pedal’ Coolers are being introduced in Japan and the US as part of a trend of gas-powered coolers for electric cars, according to a report from the US-based website Automotive News.

It is the world’s first electric car to have an engine-electric drivetrain.
The government has been working on a hybrid battery system since the early 2020s, but has been unable to get a working electric car until now.
“The battery is a new technology and is unique to electric vehicles,” Toyota Motor Corporation president Kazuhiro Tsuda said at the news conference, adding that Toyota aims to use the technology to power the company’s electric cars.
“This is a first step in achieving this goal.”
A new generation of fuel-guzzling electric cars with the gas engine are being tested in Japan, and the government is considering expanding the market for them.
“In Japan, we want to increase our electric vehicle sales,” Yoshio Ogawa, the Japanese vice-minister of economy, said in a statement.
“We have already launched a series of hydrogen vehicles with electric engines.
We are looking for more hydrogen vehicles, which will have a hydrogen engine.”
